Control & Automation group is mainly
interested in on-line controlling. We are focused mainly on several parts of
control theory:
- On-line real-time identification and control
- Algorithms based on neural networks used as controllers or models
- Adaptive and optimal controllers
- Fuzzy controllers
- Power plant and temperature controllers
- Utilization of classical control algorithms
- Direct implementation of heterogenous alghorithms
- MATLAB/Simulink working in real-time.
Topics:
- PLC based logical control.
- Control of continuous processes and optimal control using PLCs.
- Distributed control systems.
- Serial industrial communication buses and protocls (sensor/actuator buses, devicebuses and fieldbuses).
- Control based on IPCs (soft control, soft and slot logic).
- Internet technologies for data acquisition and automation.
- Microprocessor and microcontroller based control systems.
- Embedded systems.
